Editorial policy

Local Gazette publishes local news rewritten from publicly available sources including BBC regional feeds, council press releases, and other attributed outlets.

How stories are produced

1. RSS feeds and official sources are monitored for stories relevant to each town.
2. Articles are rewritten for clarity and local context — not copied verbatim.
3. Each published story links to the original source where possible.
4. Human review is required before publication via our approval workflow.

Corrections

If you spot an error, email [email protected] with the story URL. We will review and correct or remove inaccurate content promptly.

Advertising

We may display advertising (e.g. Google AdSense) to support running costs. Advertising does not influence editorial selection.
